Following a great day at the Byron Bay Bluesfest in 2014, Brent and Michelle Procter (aided by red wine) put their hands up to host a Garden Gig in Auckland. This is proof that they delivered, on a warm and sunny afternoon in the garden of their mates Bob & Lorna, in the suburb of Glendowie.
Artist line-up:
- Cody Tucker – 20 year old studying Industrial Design in Wellington – making his way in the music world (scored a wedding gig in Auckland following the Garden Gig).
- Mark Dennison (sax).
- Danny Cottrel – pool builder – though has a band and plays for all sorts of gigs around Glendowie and he and his wife Angela established the Ukulele crew (16 – all learners really)
The Glendowie GG raised $1,900 for the local hospice, Dove House.
